Tips for your best wedding photos ever! Part 3 of 3

Final day of tips! There are so many tips we could think of but these are just some that would help every bride get better photos! In case you missed the first two, they can be found here:
Part I
Part II

So here we go last tips for your best wedding photos ever!

1. Get ready in a room that has a lot of natural light. Seems like a weird request but getting ready in a dingy hotel bathroom with the toilet next to you doesn't make for the best photos of you. Opt to move a chair next to an open window, open up the curtains in the room and let that natural light flow in!

2. Do an engagement session! Be for real, when was the last time you were professionally photographed? Senior year? Ever been photographed with your soon to be spouse? Feeling natural in front of a camera is not something that comes natural to most people. By doing an engagement session, we get all of those camera jitters out of the way and learn what poses and angles make you look your best! ( Its also a great to do a trial hair and makeup run through to see how it will turn out in photos!)

3. Have your details box ready for us! This includes all the things you want captured at the beginning of the day, like your invitation, your shoes, jewelry, the perfume your wore that day! You want photos of all these things but you don't want to have to dig through bags and purses and send people across the hotel to collect them on the morning of your wedding. Putting everything in your details box a few days before and then you don't have to worry about it!

4. Final tip! Give us plenty of time for your bride and groom portraits!! These are the photos you will most likely print and frame and put on your walls and enjoy for years - so don't skimp and try to schedule in 20 minutes on your day for you two. You don't need every single combination of family photo with every aunt, cousin and moms side of the family that flew in from Ohio. Focus your photo time after the ceremony on you two.  This is YOUR time as hubby and wife and its some of the best time of the day!
