David and Julie - Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Wedding with Dusty

Hands down the coolest reception ever! With live Chinese instrumentation, rockstar dancers,  masked men and of course a 2 hooded man playing one violin... these two have officially earned the most unique and exciting reception award! And these two earned it! Coming back to Arizona for the desert wedding, the ran into some "less than expected" weather all day... like pouring down buckets of rain you guys! Their outdoor, turned indoor wedding could have caused some mixed emotions; but Julie and David just smiled and turned what could have been crazy, into a wonderful wedding day with so many amazing moments! Dusty and Kayla were there to capture all the love and happiness as these two were wed in front of tons of friends and family! We are so thankful to have been there to capture the joy Julie and David radiated!
Thank you guys! You are truly a remarkable couple. With such a positive outlook and sweet personality, we know you guys will have so many happy years together as man and wife. We wish you all the best in your life as a married couple! - Dusty, Kayla and the Studio girls
“I would want to relive the cocktail hour. Even though we didn't taste any of the hour d'ouevres, I had an absolutely amazing time just walking around outside our picturesque venue and taking pictures, holding hands, and kissing Julie. It was a little part of the ceremony that we had (almost!) all to ourselves, away from the hustle and bustle and let us take a step back and breathe in the rich beauty that surrounded all of us as well.”- David

“Red was the first color we decided on, as it's a celebratory and happy color in Chinese culture. Then came the softer, more romantic blush, and then copper that reminiscences of beautiful Arizona sunsets and rock formations of the American Southwest -- aspects that Phoenix that we love and are seared in our memories. For flowers, we wanted arrangements that popped out like fireworks, that had movement even while stationary. The arrangements featured deep red dahlias, soft blush roses, berries, and eucalyptus leaves, among other flowers that our florist Andrea McKay so beautifully arranged. (They smelled heavenly!) My necklace was a gift from my grandparents when I turned 12. And David picked out my shoes :).” -Julie

“First look. David looked so handsome and I was beyond excited to see him! In the middle of the excitement, we took a moment to stand with each other and prepare for the momentous event ahead. The sound of rain in the background added to the romance and the sneaky suspicion that our friends and family were looking on added to the excitement.” - Julie

“The thing I loved most about Julie was my bride's radiant, genuine smile was the most beautiful part of her. Whenever she smiled, her eyes shone with such happiness and a hint of mirth, and I could feel a little of her unabashed joy through her smile.” - David
“There are so many moments! Something that warms my heart and makes me laugh was seeing some friends and family who are normally stoic (our dads for example) be unabashedly happy.” - Julie
“The moment during the ceremony that sticks out to me was staring into Julie's eyes, holding her hands, listening to the vows and messages we wrote to each other finally being officially said and smiling at the knowledge that this beautiful, amazing, and genuine woman was really the one and the soulmate that I would embark on this lifelong journey with.” - David

Such a beautiful fun loving full of love day! Thank you David and Julie for letting us capture your beautiful wedding day!
